Coke Geyser...Yeeyah!

Diet Coke and Mentos. If you want to do this as well...(ask your parents first) we used fruit mentos on our first geyser. The fountain wasn't that big. The mint ones are definitely better as the video shows.

Yeeyah! Blowing up a plastic bottle. Learning at it's best. BOOM!!!!

Baking soda + vinegar = Carbon-dioxide....
Carbon dioxide trapped inside a bottle = BAAAAABANNNNNGGGG!!!!!

Learning in Room 7 is always fun and explosive! Yeehaaaaaa!!!!

Ko tenei te wiki o te reo Maori

Kia ora...Ko tenei te wiki o te reo Maori. We love te reo Maori at te Kura Taramoa. (Thanks to Mrs Taikato for teaching us te reo every week!!!)

Ka mau te wehi...Keep checking our blog everyday for more te reo Maori messages.

Room 7 Scientists.

What a shambles! So much noise, so much water everywhere. So much learning going on. We are using normal everyday items to test out scientific concepts. We are learning to predict, observe and explain our way through fun science experiments. Stay tuned because tomorrow we're doing an experiment that involves an egg and vinegar....should be smelly! We love it!
