Year 4 Boys Roleplay

We need to work on our script a bit (hehehe). But, this activity was all about
the children learning to work interdependently with each other. It was great seeing
them work through disagreements to come to a final product.

Year 4 Girls Role Play

The children were given the task of making up a role play about respecting others.
The point of the activity was for the groups to work interdependently.

Shannon's blooper

Shannon was a great introducer of our role plays. But, here's his hiccup!

Year 5 Boys Role Plays

Room 7 are learning the Habit of Mind - Interdependence. They needed to work together to
create a roleplay about showing respect. The Year 5 boys made up their skit about showing respect
to elders. Love the Nana xxx

Interschool Swimming Sports...Reppin' Strathmore School!

Wednesday 8th June saw myself (Ms Tereu) and 24 talented Strathmore swimmers at the Tokoroa Indoor Pools.  So proud of the achievements of our competitors.  Swimming lessons every Friday for three terms in the year helps Strathmore children become awesome swimmers.

Many of our swimmers were in top placings for their events.  Great efforts in the relays saw Ms Tereu lose her voice.  (It was exciting lol)  Our 9 year olds won...well done, Monica, Ce'Nedra, Kaleb and Shannon.  Our ten years old came second in a close race...great job to Hawea, Charley, Taylor and William.  The same team came third in the top school.....SO PROUD OF YOU!
